Analyzing the snow in Tuckerman Ravine - Mount Washington, NH
Many days during the winter it’s hard to forecast avalanches, due to countless variables. On those days time in the field is required to get a better handle on the nuances of each gully, slope and pocket. Impossible to extrapolated one 6ft x 6ft sample over a wider region, but it does help piece together the puzzle. Photo: Joe Klementovich
