Four days of serious snow blowing in on and East wind made for some unusual snow conditions all over Mount Washington. Wide open snow fields covered areas were stunted trees usually reign, and six foot tall cairns barely visible on Lion Head Trail. After a less than average winter, conditions for skiing in Tuckerman Ravine, Gulf of Slides and many other popular spring destinations should be better than average after this big dump of white stuff. photo: Joe Klementovich
